VÃŒREO
VÌREO, recorded by Fabio Mina (flutes), Mirco Ballabene (double bass) and Danilo Rinaldi (percussion), was inspired by the teachings of Hildegard von Bingen and her theory of the "green force". Mina is very interested in antique music, Gregorian chant and old church music, and his métier includes traditional flutes from all over the world. In this album, intuitive world-music is combined with jazzy elements to produce an ingenious whole: flowing, lively, sensitive and inspired.
